Doing business is not for the fainthearted. Any opportunity to learn, network, vent and share with those who can relate is always a welcome opportunity. This is the passion behind our platform Business Mums Business Women Network that specifically aims to empower women and especially mums in business to grow their networks, share their challenges and tips as well as listen to inspirational speakers. The Business Mums Business Women Networking Events are hosted quarterly. For this 5th edition, The Inspiration behind “Doing Business Doing Life” was to bring women in business to connect and learn from the very inspirational Wandia Gichuru CEO Vivo Activewear, who not only is bold and vivacious, but also living out her life aspiring to be the best version of herself . She dared the entrepreneurs to be bold, make bold statements and go for their business goals despite the fears we have especially as women. She shared tips on what has made Vivo Activewear a success and dared the women attending to stay motivated, consistent, learn from the competition and embrace being strong and even different. The event ended with a goal setting exercise for next year. For the women who attended they certainly left excited about 2019. The event was also supported by Jamiibora Bank who shared the specific solutions they have for women in business including their Tender Hub product especially for those women in business interested in Tenders.
