The event was organized for women struggling with fertility, providing an opportunity to interact with an expert in this field Dr. Kireki Omanwa who is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He has specialized in Fertility Medicine. and prior to returning to Kenya in 2014, Dr.Kireki worked in the leading Fertility Clinic in U.K. Assisted Reproduction and Gynecology Clinic based in London. Not only did the event provide an opportunity to interact with the doctor, but also to meet other women going through the same, connect with them and also listen IVF success stories. There were also many stories of stigma the women shared, and the interaction provided great hope and encouragement for most of them. The strength and resolve of these women was absolutely remarkable.
