½ kg minced beef
2 slices fresh bread
1 onion , grated
1 tsp. crushed garlic
1 tsp. crushed ginger
1 tsp. finely chopped dania
Pinch of powdered cloves
½ tsp. cinnamon powder
Oil for deep frying
In a mixing bowl, place all ingredients except the bread and oil.
Soak the bread in cold water and squeeze out the water, add to the meat and mix well.
Shape into balls or logs and keep aside.
Heat up the oil to medium hot, sprinkle the kebabs with little flour and fry in oil until brown and cooked, turning them only once to avoid breaking.
When cooked, remove from the oil and drain on soft paper.
Break and beat the eggs in a plate, dip the kebabs in eggs and turn in the heating oil again until the egg is cooked and browns slightly.
Remove and drain again on soft paper. Serve with lemon wedges for tea or any beverage.
