APPRECIATE HER

What would you do without her? Almost every household Kenya has an “Aunty” or “DM” who helps out with the domestic work every day.

We need to appreciate her some more. Here is why.

1. She cleans your house EVERYDAY. Can you imagine if you had to do it every day alongside your job and sometime just not being in the mood to do house chores?

2. Once in a few months, we get bored with our jobs. Imagine how she must feel.

3. We can take a holiday from our work place, most of them are not able to until probably December.

4. Even in the cold, she washes the dishes and mops the floor with the cold water

5. We might get promoted, but she works for others until she gets old enough to stop working.

6. She has no pension or job security. Still, she works hard every day to make ends meet

7. She balances her family AND helps you have an easier life… and yet you will never know even if she is having a tough day.

She truly does make our everyday life easier.
